When I was younger, I would escape into my own world by drawing, painting, or playing with clay. Away from the judgment of others, a time for me to reflect on my short existence, here on this planet.
Over the years as I "grew up"
I lost track of what I enjoyed doing with my free time. One day I decided there is no time like the present to find out what you love to do, then to start applying it to your life. I rediscovered clay and I have rediscovered myself.

Green River College – Work Study/Lab Assistant ~for the ceramics lab
June 2014 - present

Assist the Lab Tech and the Professor with various classroom duties from helping new students develop their skills on the pottery wheel, to loading electric, gas, raku and soda fire kilns. I also mix glazes, make test tiles, pug clay and other various cleaning responsibilities.
